I received  my newest ornament in the mail yesterday from Mark Akers. It looks to be a fairly thick ornament in the picture. Looks can be deceiving. as it turns out, this is a slim carving but no detail has been lost. This is a wonderful size for hanging on the tree or as I will do, place it on a ornament stand to have on display all year round. This is a wonderful carving, enjoy the video.

as always,
Good night and may God bless

  1. Nice site. Very nice carvings too! Though I have been carving for a while, I still have to really work at the eyes. You seem to have found your style! Very nice. Oh, by the way, I too grew up with Red Skelton on tv. What a class act!

    1. Thanks Chuck for the kind words though I can tell you I still struggle with being consistent with carving eyes. I believe the two biggest issues for carvers are hands and eyes. Glad you like the site, hope you come back and visit.

Ah Red Skelton, what a wonderful and talented man, I will always be a fan of his and his wonderful comedic timing. We don't have talent like him any more and he was talented way beyond his comedy.

thanks again for stopping by and taking the time to comment,

as always, Good night and may God bless
